QUALITY CONTROL
At G.S Rubbers, quality is the foundation of our manufacturing process. Our Quality Control system is designed to ensure that every product consistently meets international standards for safety, durability, and performance. All operations are carried out in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
Raw Material Inspection
All incoming raw materials, including rubber compounds, textile yarns, wires, and additives, are thoroughly inspected and tested before production. Only approved materials are released for manufacturing to ensure uniform quality and long service life of the hoses.
In-Process Quality Control
Quality checks are conducted at every stage of production to maintain strict control over manufacturing parameters. These include:
- Rubber compounding and mixing
- Extrusion of inner tubes
- Reinforcement braiding and layering
- Cover application and finishing
Parameters such as dimensions, wall thickness, adhesion, flexibility, and surface finish are continuously monitored.
Final Product Testing
Finished hoses undergo rigorous inspection and testing before dispatch, including:
- Working pressure and bursting pressure tests
- Dimensional accuracy (ID, OD, wall thickness)
- Flexibility and bend radius checks
- Visual inspection for surface defects
Only products that fully comply with defined specifications are approved for delivery.
Calibration & Equipment Control
All testing instruments and measuring equipment are regularly calibrated to ensure accuracy. Preventive maintenance programs are followed for machinery to maintain consistent production quality and minimize deviations.
Documentation & Traceability
Detailed records are maintained for raw materials, production batches, inspection results, and dispatch details. This ensures full traceability and supports continuous quality improvement.
Continuous Improvement
Our Quality Control team regularly reviews process performance, audit findings, and customer feedback. Corrective and preventive actions are implemented to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
